Rugby completely aside, what is up with the DJ they keep showing on the screen? Are we trying to attract the trendy kids? Looks like he's playing bad tunes to himself under the back of one of the stands...
A lesson in rugby tonight :-(
well that sucked

At least I got free transport home (and by free, I mean prepaid)...and the lineout improved.

Very pleased to see Foley dragged Kyle around 3/4 time, despite the wrap many have had on him - he played one dimensional shite all night; wingers only got the ball from him once he was going backwards, he also gave away three turnovers by getting isolated or being held up.
I thought Benny Mac had a good game and probably shaded Zac as best in an ordinary lot. Some of the young guys also stood up ok. Lineout was also much better - we seemed to preserve a good gap and then not throw it in too close to the Canes lineup.
Overall, we were well and truly outplayed by a far better team. Biggest disappointment for me was the first up tackles that were missed creating good yards for the Canes that then dragged Force players in, leaving massive gaps out wide. Defence was our strength last year, but we seem to have slipped significantly in this area.
Kyle was stuffed coming off the ground after pre-game warmup.

Our set piece did improve but the Canes backline were a class above.
We really need to put it together next week if our season is to get back on track.
Against the Brumbies in Canberra? Dream on :-(

Kane Koteka played well for a first run..Was involved in many plays.. Tackled and ran with the ball. Rhino tried his best. Steve Mafi achieved some good yards.. Rory Walton gave some mongrel to some phases... Luke Burton and Zac Holmes brought some change but were oit played by an All Black Back line. The Bench showed potential....
Yes we lost but I still have Faith and I feel sorry for all teams playing the Canes as I see them as finalist if they stay fit and healthy

Well that was pure garbage! No excuses! 20 mins into 1st half 2 tries(should've been 3) down and our backs seem to think that to beat these blokes, who score from anywhere, is to kick the faarrkkenn ball back to them. Just plain dumb play! In the last 2 games our season has gone. Mentally and Physically.
