    Queensland - The smart state

Gotta love this slogan, especially when Queensland Roar have travelled to Adelaide to play the last game of the A - League minor round. What is strange about this is Queensland thought this was a HOME game and packed their home kit.

Last time I checked, Adelaide was not the capital of Queensland (or is there something I don't know about).

They should just stick to what they know... bending bananas and collecting wooden spoons.

Congratulations Burgs, you've just named the Seven Queenslanders with both Brains and Rugby Playing Ability (You also named a Zimbabwean, a New Guinean and a Samoan, they dont count)

I knew this would raise arguments
The Zim, PNG and Samoan converted to senior squads in or from Qld.
Therefore I would feel that Qld has a greater claim than anyone else.
Have omitted Sharpey under the reverse of the same principle

    That explains it!
We watched it on the MEGA screens at the new Carbon Sports Bar at Burswood. Being projectors the colours blurr slightly. The mix-up was a real arse-ache and I couldn't believe they were allowed to use that strip.

Those MEGA screens are about 5 - 6 metres wide and about 4 metres high. Carbon will be a fantastic spot to catch the ZA matches next month.

That's if it is open. Went to Casino last year for a SA match and they shut down the screens as it was strating. Any opening times available??

Educated by my Swedish Brother-in-law lots of years ago in the old NSL days. I played a bit as a little tacker, without any distinction at all. I never liked watching it though, until I went to Hindmarsh and watched a game live. A bit like AFL in that regard.

Geez that's hard to fathom. A phone call closer to time should sort that out.

But they've spent some big bucks and built an addition to the main Casino for it so I'd be surprised if it's not 24/7. Got Fox at home but I might venture there for at least the first game.

If it's open, sounds like a good reason for a TWF get together!!
