TEAM OF THE WEEK
James O'Connor. The 18-year-old will become the second youngest Wallaby ever if selected to play a Test during Australia's spring tour to Hong Kong and Europe.
Robert Harvey. The St Kilda mid-fielder retired from the AFL after playing 383 games.
Shane Crawford. The Hawthorn stalwart plays his first grand final today, after 304 games.
USA. Won back the Ryder Cup but why do their fans have to be so very, very American?
West Pennant Hills Cherrybrook Cricket Club u-12 As and Bs. Played their annual charity match last weekend, with both teams supporting breast cancer research by having all batting grips in pink and total runs scored - 203 - turned into a dollar donation to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
Nick Haydon. The halfback for Uni Firsts in their grand final against Randwick last Saturday. It was in fact his seventh straight grand final win, in the course of which he also graduated in medicine. Sometimes, they do make 'em like they used to!
Sydney Uni Firsts. Won their fourth premiership in succession, beating some team called Randwick.
Mark Gynther. After playing hockey 492 times for Macquarie Uni over 27 years, without winning a premiership, the 45-year-old finally got up for one last Saturday - and did it with other notable veterans, Joe Dean, Ian Jessup and Ralph Scott.
