All our older guys have gone to play for Joondalup.
It's closer to where they have to go to take their kids to train for Nedlands.
And after celebrating hard at the 50th anniversary of the filming of Zulu, that classic movie, all clubs stand to loose their volunteers base from exhaustion trying to fill the coffers for the ARU!!
Wanneroo has got nothing at the moment.
one of the most impressive young and upcomming no8 stars Blake Phillips has just anounced that he is of to NZ after being offered a nice deal to play there
Currently Gibbo is training a group of around 30 players but most of these players will struggle to play second grade

Thirty players!
That Gibbo's a lucky bastard!
Maybe Wanneroo should steal an initiative, seeing as how they are short on numbers and all, and open up a branch senior club in the Western corridor.
I hear there's a fully functional ground available at Rosalie Park.
it was a wind up,Pieter
You're learning, Gunny.
Pieter umpires cricket in the summer months and always see's it as straight through to the keeper with no edge which generally gets him a few bemused steers from all those participating.
“In 1823, William Webb Ellis first picked up the ball in his arms and ran with it. And for the next 156 years forwards have been trying to work out why.” - Sir Tasker Watkins (1979)
What does he do with the bemused steers?

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
