COACH John Mitchell has named a side packed with Super 14 experience for the opening game of the Force's six-match development tour of England tomorrow.

There are also two Test veterans, utility back Scott Staniforth and hooker Tai McIsaac, in a squad to be captained by young flanker David Pocock against the Newcastle Falcons

Mitchell has teamed teenaged five-eighth James O’Connor, who has just turned 18, with halfback Chris O’Young. Pat O'Connor makes a long-awaited return to the second row after two seasons out with back-to-back knee reconstructions and centre Junior Pelesasa is also back after a long injury layoff.

New signing, winger Caleb Brown, and Australian Schoolboys scrumhalf Justin Turner are on the bench

Mitchell said: “We’ve gone for a very good mix of youth and experience and it will be interesting to see how the different combinations work.
