    Scoop from Sydney - Knuckles ignores Growden

    This doesnt appear to have been reported on Rugby Heaven but there is a small notice on the rugby page in the SMH this morning.

    Evidently at the final press conference at Sydney airport last night before the Wallabies boarded the plane to the World Cup twhen Growden fronted up with a question John said he would not be a party to the press conference while Growden was there.

    Growden refused to leave so Knuckles walked off.

    After coaxing from other journo's Knuckles came back. ( I am pretty sure he didnt answer any of Growdens questions)

    The piece in this mornings SMH is along the lines of
    "O'neill apologises for Knuckles spat" and goes on to say John O'Neill apologised on behalf of the ARU to SMH and Growden himself.

    It a good thing O'Neill didnt apologise on Knuckles behalf or he might have been rammed down Growdens throat.
