I have been watching this guy, out of all the mini league players he seems to be head and shoulders deadset great value for money. Lets face it, Rogers was a joke, Lote is a myth, and Sailor.....well he was just a complete belter
Cross for Wallabies 22. (diarise that)
That is all.
Hasta la vista Pam
Rogers had terrible hands and unfortunately was a bit of a spoilt brat back in his Cronulla days which ultimately led him to expect certain things out of Rugby (ie. demanding to play in certain positions etc). He could have been something special if he put his head down and did the hard yards, but unfortunately his ego was too big for his rugby boots.
Sailor I agree was a dead set joke and I think it was well known he was signed purely for publicity rather than potential.
Cross could be good because although he was good at league, he didn't come to rugby with massive wraps or achievements under his belt which means he has to work hard to gain the respect. I think he's done well so far and can keep doing well.
with the way our government is going atm. it wouldnt surprise me![]()
What about Tuquri - what a big hissy fit after the game last night?Originally Posted by Use The Force

Yeah right - that would explain why he got MOM last week !
It's people like him give leaguies a good name
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
Not quite jesus, but definately gonna get better and better, a good investment i feel...
Proudly bought to you by a brewery somewhere....
Cross is value for money, as was Josh Graham last year (another leaguey). Schifcoske is showing good value for the Reds this year- till his injury. Wingers have a harder time adjusting to the unpredictable kicking of union.
For all the youngsters contemplating a professional rugby football future, remember that two former league greats in Wally Lewis and Ricky Stuart learnt their 30m passing skill in schoolboy rugby. One was a 5/8, the other a scrum half.
from little things, big things grow...
Cross is good.
Sailor was better.
Lote is great.
Rogers was best.
Other than Cross & Lote, its a shame we cant still the other 2 guys still playing the roundish ball game.

Jesus? Haha I love this site.
He's been a very consistant performer for the Force.
With you there Sage, "Jesus" might be a little strong, but I do see promise in the guy.Originally Posted by Sagerian

Now that Schifcofske is hurt I'd have to say that Crossy is the best league crossover in the current plying group, and he's only played 5 games (or so) can't wait for him to get used tothe pace of the game

Rogers and Sailor suffered from bad attitude problems. Plus Rogers had some shocking days with the hands. Rugby were right to let go of them.Originally Posted by chook
