By Jon Geddes Huxley recovers after brain surgery - Rugby - Fox Sports
April 10, 2008 COURAGEOUS Australia and Brumbies back Julian Huxley is recovering in hospital after undergoing surgery to remove a tumour from his brain.
The operation took place at North Shore Private Hospital last Thursday, following a diagnosis after he was knocked out attempting a tackle on Queensland forward James Horwill in a Super 14 match on March 1.
"The initial feedback is that the surgery went well," Brumbies CEO Andrew Fagan said. "There are some test results he is still waiting for, but he is recovering well."
Fagan praised the way Huxley has handled the traumatic situation.
