Brendan Cannon was released from Christchurch Public Hospital this morning having been admitted last night after being stretchered from the ground following a scrum collapse in the 68th minute of the game against the Crusaders.
Brendan suffered numbness and weakness in his left arm but tests have confirmed no new injury. He is expected to return to Perth this week and discuss further treatment with his specialist.

These things happen in Rugby but no matter how many times you see those incidents they still bring that horrible empty feeling.
Good to hear, neck injuries are nasty things!
