After a four-hour hearing in front of the ARU Conduct Tribunal, Quade Cooper has been found guilty of two charges of bringing the code into disrepute following his controversial statements.
Cooper has copped a three match ban (suspended for two years), plus a huge up front fine of $40,000, with a further $20,000 suspended for two years.
The fines were for social media comments ($10,000) and social media and general media comments ($50,000), totalling $60,000.
Cooper is expected to deliver a short statement following the announcement of his suspended ban and substantial fine.
