80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?

outside backs look particularly threadbare. No point in scott or nokoro if they are not getting game time. only one who we should be retaining is DHP.
lance is not listed there. Where would you put him Mr innforcer flyhalf, centre or outside back?

Does JT have a contract at the moment?
Hi TIF
should Tessman be "not blue" or "not 2015"?
Thankyou for your service!
Just looking at the players "off contract" at the end of this season, and apart from The Badger & Big Dog, do you think there is anyone on that list that any other franchise is hoping to pick up, like the way we have picked up Jono Lance?

Some franchises might be interested in Ryan Louwrens. The Brumbies have lost Nic White and their other 9s are pretty average.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Calzy - you mean RE-SIGN, not resign, right???!!!
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
We need a top quality prop, most desperately a tighthead to replace KBomb, no disrespect to Tets, but our scrum is weaker since last year. I think it's essential to retain Tessman, as he is pushing Cheese every second.
in the Locks, I think Sam is headed OS and we need to replace him, again with some quality. Coleman, Mafi and Steenkamp seem to be holding their own, but another Sharpie would be nice.
Backrow is, again, an embarrassment of riches, but there are a lot of names that need re-signing. Dog is another one on the must-have list, along with IMHO Kane, who has been amazing considering the blokes we compare him to. Kane is our succession plan for when Hodgo is sitting on his ass running a gym in Floreat.
Stander would be good, but I don't know that I'd slash my wrists and RHP should be chased simply for the fact that he's a local boy and won't need to 'go home'
Scrumhalf, if there was one who I'd call surplus to needs it'd be Alby, not because he's not enhancing the team, but simply because the other two are good enough for us to want to burn a Marquee spot on another position. The other two need to stay.
Flyhalf it appears Lance and Burton are being considered instead of Zack and, let's face it, flyhalf is our millstone, buy somebody, buy the best somebody you can afford, we need a good link man who can kick smartly.....perhaps Jono Lance is that man, perhaps not. We can only hope!
Centres, there's plenty of blue there, but Marcel Brache is terribly underrated in lots of ways. I think he brings a real steel and enthusiasm to the team. I'd be chasing his signature pretty hard. Not so keen on Junior and even starting to go cold on Kyle, but they have contracts so.....
The speed men? Dellit to leave, Morahan....I won't be holding my breath, Cummins is a 50-50 depending on the Red Sparks attitude. Lacey and Yamada haven't seen any game time, but I'd run the WA Boy ruler over Brad and keep him around, Yamada needs the ARU to continue to support a program where all the franchises send money to Japan in exchange for somebody who.......folds towels?
In the WTG, As I already indicated Keep Kane, promote him to a full contract, the others I don't know about, compare Scoble to Abel, Scoble looked good in the U20world cup, but is he a better option than Robbie Abel?
So, the place I see room for a bit of a dabble is probably Outside Backs, there's too much pressure in other areas, particularly Flyhalf.
C'mon the![]()

Would love to see Lacey and of course Yamada getting a run.
Am I flogging a dead horse in thinking that they should see if Paddy Dellit could get back to his barnstorming best in the centres? Or am I looking at that period with rose-coloured glasses? If I am, then why are we using funds on the guy? Couldn't another Australian team have use for him? If he was at the Brumbies, could he be in Wallaby contention again?
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
