Matt Henjak seems like a totaly different player this year. I was very critical of him last season as he seemed to have no apitite for the ball especialy if he had to work to get it & the service he gave to the backs was putting them under a lot of preasure. This season he seems to have the heart of a lion and the service he's giving the backs is allowing time for them to work their moves. I've only seen him against the Highlanders & the Bulls, in both games he went through the heart of line outs. Against N.Z & S.A teams that is a really gutsy move. "Good on him". Maybe the new Walliby half back?![]()

Other aspects and comparing to other Australian options aside, he certainly has been doing some really hard work running it up and taking some really big tackles so far this season.
As a pretty big #9 he should be able to keep it up and I certainly hope he can go on to break back into the Wallaby Squad for France.

Me too, A+ for effort this year...

yes henjak has impressed me thoroughly this year also.
he has been the pick of the halfbacks this year. his combo with gits is fantastic and they provide the side with great flexibilty. sniping runs and solid defence have appeared from nowhere into the 'new' henjak this year!
go hennerslook at all the people changing sides now! .....you can see the real supporters - the ones who believed in him.
I have always stuck with Yak, now he is showing what he is able to do.
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
It's good to see a lot of us had the faith in him Shaun. I thought he a had a blinder against the Bulls.Originally Posted by Shaun

GO YAK, Yes he is playing far better this year as are other players within the team. He is going on some good runs, his kicking is better and he as put in some try saving tackles. I also believe the backs are spreading out more so giving more time on his passing. Now all we want is for the fans at home to get behind him and make him feel part of the Force and not belittle him like they have in the past. ALL FOR ONE
I think Yaks work rate has been fantastic this year. especially his work around the breakdown and his cover defence.
Last year he seemed rather lazy and disinterested and seemed content to let others do the work at the breakdown - however this year he is often the last man up at a stoppage
Keep it up Yak :-)
