I go away on business for a few days and the world turns upside down.
I've lost all confidence in my predictive powers, so I won't embarrass myself by pontificating on the failings of other clubs, God knows Palmyra have enough of their own at the present.
My predictive results for this weekend are as follows:
Wanneroo v Nedlands
Nedlands by five points
Wests v Perth
Perth by twenty points
University v Associates
Soaks by ten points
Kalamunda v Rockingham
Rockingham by fifteen points
(And at least one Rocky supporter will be cited to appear before the judiciary if he performs again like he did last week.)
Cottesloe v Palmyra
Cott by thirty points
Hey FS
Are you saying the Rocky crowd is as feral as the Kala crowd? Or is there just one of 'em? Because that will make for a very interesting game on the strength of the sideline, um, "entertainment" alone!
What is it that makes some crowds feral and almost all others not?
Ecky, I'm only commenting on the outrageous conduct of one Rocky supporter towards an assistant referee last weekend, as reported to me by senior officials of my club.
I'm sure most/nearly all Rocky supporters are great rugby men and are no better or worse than anyone else's supporters. Same with Kala.
It is up to the individual to control himself, and if he can't, and won't take advice to behave, then the Union should deal with the matter appropriately.
We've all behaved like a goose at some time or another, but most of us realise that there are limits and don't overstep the mark.
Hopefully the individual concerned has learned or been told a few home truths and will pull his head in. I'm told his own club's officials were embarrassed.
Jeez Fulvio, is this all you can salvage out of the Rocky/Paly day?
