It is with a great sadness that I announce to the TWF family that Normie has passed away, this is obviously unexpected to every one.
I am personally very glad I got to meet him for the first time at the TWF awards night recently, in my ten minutes of meeting normie I would describe him as a rugby gentlemen indeed and someone who i would have loved to have known better - I'm sorry mate I didn't get that opportunity.
From everyone at TWF, our prayers go out to his family and friends, and I hope you are enjoying some quality rugby upstairs!

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
Terrible news just coming in all, our beloved friend normie has passed, senselessly killed in the crash in Byford reported on ABC news tonight. I met normie at the POTY on Tuesday, he was as funny, endearing and engaging in person as he was on this forum. I'm shocked and deeply saddened with this tragedy.
My thoughts are with his wife and children, I cannot begin to fathom how they try to cope make sense of it all.

I am stunned, this is a tragedy that should never have taken place.
R.I.P Normie.
I can't believe it. I first met him at JB O'Reilly's two or three years ago and he always had a smile on his face when I saw him. My chats with him at the south-eastern corner of NIB Stadium were a routine at the end of every home game. He will be sorely missed.
Stunned best wishes to his family.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
Truly stunned
I don't recall ever meeting Normie in person and that will truly be my loss. He was always good for a laugh and he will be missed around these parts
My thoughts and condolences go out to his family who I cannot even imagine what they are going through at this time
RIP Normie![]()

Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Excuse my language:
Fuckin cock heads of society fuck you.
Don't us normal hard working members of society make up about 90% of the population?
Why do the other 10% still walk amongst us?
Sorry all I'm pissed and sick of dealing with the scum of society for another week. Spent $160 at the bottle shop today to assist in forgetting the week I've had.
RIP Normie I spent time with a close friend of yours today.

Stunned, RIP Normie, peace to your family.
Lost for words, so very sad. Saw the news report yesterday but had no idea.
Can't begin to imagine what the family are going through. Please give them the strength they need to get through this.
Never met Normie, but it is obvious he is held in high regard.
RIP
Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
Like others on this forum I too met Normie for the first time Tuesday night. I'm glad I met him before he passed.
Tragic accidents like this make you realise how precious life is.
RIP Normie.
