Just watching Rugby HQ. Kearns and Kafer unimpressed with wearinggear!
But, Kearns comment about the attempt to beat the World record hi vis crowd would have to be Qantas club on a Sunday morning isn't far wrong.
Are you going to wear hi-vis over your Blues on Saturday night?
I dispise the vis culture that has become Perth.
the class catagories have gone from blue collar - white collar
to blue collar - white collar - vis.
anyways, Ill probably stuff a vis vest into the pocket of my blue suit jacket, and if needs be, I can don it to assist with whatever this world record attempt is. But dont plan on wearing it voluntarily.
No chance - can't get into any pubs wearing hi-vis
coz Stone Cold says so
Surely won't beat the amount of people standing around doing nothing on the Mitchell Freeway most evenings, lots of Hi-Vis seems to equal little work.
is it an opportunity to try and impress future mining sponsors or maybe they r going to unveil the new major sponsor.a certain mining company

Don't have a Vis..Mr Hertryk leaves his on site... ! Could have worn the "new hard hat" but had that delivered to site..![]()
that all went well! haha. (sarcasm)
while we didnt stick around for the world record (thats VDT) reports were that it was poorly organised and fell short...?
RugbyWA were told by Nib on Thursday afternoon that any hi vis that looked like security would be asked to remove before entry which is why all the last minute sms messages, either way a pretty sad idea IMHO. How about getting everyone to wear blue instead
I think it fell about 200 short officially.
80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
It took so long to get organised; if they'd started letting folks onto the pitch after ~5-10 minutes it might have encouraged a few others in the stands to join in.
As it was, I was still in the East stand 15 minutes after the match and could see the people corralled next to the West stand, with the staff starting to throw tabards into the gathered crowd for people who hadn't brought their own. Really didn't feel like joining into the crush and then the subsequent stampede onto the pitch once they opened the gates.
By not trusting folks to be on the pitch a second before everything was ready, I reckon they lost a lot. Treat people like kids and they'll behave as kids; treat them like adults and they'll behave (mostly) like adults!
should have done it in the members bar on the tennis courts... oh... wait...
I hung around chatting to my brother after the game until after the attempt and the whole thing was laughable.
A handful of people escaped out the back to the northen end because they didn't want to wait around anymore
