Yes, I know this is early but who do you think will be playing in the end of season tour?
Mine:
1. Robinson
2. Moore
3. Baxter
4. Horwill (VC)
5. Mumm
6. McMeniman
7. Smith (c)
8. Brown
9. Burgess
10. Barnes
11. Mitchell
12. Giteau
13. Cross
14. Hynes
15. Shepherd (If fit)
Hopefully they play midweek games so some of the development players will get a go. I'm also hoping they stop this utility back crap for AAC and mold him into a outside centre to lead into the 2011 World cup. Giteau crabs too much at fly-half while Barnes has probably the superior general kicking so I prefer him at fly-half. I really hope Mortlock realises to give it up as he has been rubbish all season and his leadership is minimal.
Smith should be captain with Horwill the captain after, that's change I can believe in!
Sheps wont be there.. he has said he wants to take extra time to heal before S14 next year. As youve indicated, i also think AAC shouldnt be in the starting team, Mitchell is a far better tactical kicker and he can make the yards just as well.
Cross wont get in front of Mortlock no matter how well he plays, he will be the supersub unless Mortlock gets injured.
Hopefully we'll see Pocock in the mix as well, probably wont get a starting game but I'll surprised if he isnt given a bench spot for some of the games.
on another note, I for one like barnes at 12, he & gits work well together and they make so many more plays, when gits gets shut down at least barnes is there to keep the composure.
i say bring in bam bam
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
never too early blr
1- robinson
2- moore
3- baxter
4- horwill
5- sharpe
6- can smithy do 6? if so smith
7- pocock
8- brown
9- burgess
10- gits. he is developing there. if not, barnes for sure. he was great last rwc
11- DREW MITCHELL WITH NO LOTE TUQUIRI!
12- barnes, if not gits, if neither of them then we are in trouble!
13- i would LOVE to see crossy here, but i just cant see them dropping mortlock. i do not want another gregan situation happening here, but really. ryan is the good. smithy is an excellent captain. mortlock needs to wake up and realise there are guys out there who are as good as him, and if he wants to stay there he needs to fight for his spot!
14- hynes
15- CAMERON SHEPARD with a fixed knee
16- frier
17- dooooonut
18- mmm
19- mumm?
20- sheenan
21- uurgh i suppose tahu
22- aac. i think he is good in all positions, but doesnt shine in any of them and that if he isnt going to specialise then he can stay on the bench.
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

McMeniman is useless. Should play Mumm at 6 and go Horwill and Sharpe in the locks.
Not too sure how he is faring, but if Barnes shoulder needs surgery...could Spanna be an inclusion in the 30 man squad? He has Wallabies experience and could pretty much cover anywhere on the backline.
unfortunately Tuqiri is paid too much money by the ARU to be left out. We won't see Shep again untill the Super 14 kicks off (something he comfirmed at the jersey launch the other week)
