Night starts off at a leisurely pace. Talking about the positive aspects of MES,ie rectangular stadium, serving of full strength beverages etc. Damn civilized and its a nice change being comfortable and close to the action compared to the other joint which will not be mentioned.

Punters are drifting in through the door, pleasantries abound. General waffle, christ now one is being gobby. Ah thats better, X is in crawler mode with some of the more attractive punters, ie handing out of roses etc and Coach does the right thing and gives X the arse for conduct unbecoming of a chatmaster. Fair enough, the rest of us ugly punters get bugger all apart from a kick up the arse.

Jess is quite chuffed with herself as she has cooked up a storm for the family and this starts up a small culinary moment.

Explaining WTF means to Em and inadvertently swear which isnt setting a good example to others so i boot myself off for awhile.Now this is completely out of character for me and im putting it down to the MSG in the taco mix.
When i come back obviously someone left the front door open as the place is being over run with punters. Lots of different conversations going on ie Spirit, joys of marriage, singledom, JBs, RWC etc. One thing for sure is that for people not going to France are getting jackshit of people who are going. Envy, 1 of the 7 deadly sins. Bugger.
Night is drawing to an end and AFL is on the cards. Punters whingeing about gayfl, blanket media coverage, the game sucks arse. Well, we live in a AFL state believe it or not and Rugby has to make do with crumbs unfortunately.
I personally follow AFL, Jess and many others on the site do as well. We can complain till we are blue in the face, but it isnt going to change overnight.
