I have to say I agree with him, the way that the South African fans and media have carried on about his appointment have been deplorable and I doubt would never occur in regular circimstances.
Perhaps, but provoked or not look at his statements, flip them around and imagine them coming out of the mouth of Jake White or Heineke Meyer.
wouldn't surprise me, i'm no fan of the puppet, but he got the job and South Africa should stand behind him. Those rumours that came out after the last game against the Wallabies were stupid, and if they were true the whole squad should be sacked. DeVilliers should just quit and go Coach in Europe somewhere and leave the SARU board hanging next year. No one needs this crap going on when their trying to do their job, whether your a fan of his or not
Here's Highfield (Joburg) FM's morning program from a few days ago.
Probably not entirely safe for work or suitable for impressionable minds. P1ss funny though.
Well as much as I hate to stand up for Eddie, he did retain a Bledisloe, win a 3N and take the Wallabies to a RWC Final. What's DeVilliers coaching experience apart from 6 games?
Just re-added ; PdV has 2 wins and 4 losses

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
