The LRLF released a statement on Monday confirming the entire team would be stood down with immediate effect.
NRL stars Robbie Farah, Mitchell Moses, Tim Mannah, Josh Mansour and Michael Lichaa are among 17 players suspended by the Lebanese Rugby League Federation in the latest extraordinary development engulfing the international game.
The LRLF released a statement on Monday confirming the entire team would be stood down with immediate effect and face a misconduct panel after senior players revolted against the way its administration was being run in the Middle East.
Players had outlined plans to tape over the LRLF logo before the mid-season test against Fiji, a protest which was later scrapped.
But having initially threatened players with jail time if they carried out the action, the LRLF has now brought charges against the players.
A Rugby League International Federation representative will chair a misconduct panel to hear the charges.
Moses, Mansour and Adam Doueihi didn't even play in the Cedars' 58-14 loss at Leichhardt Oval, but have still been charged.

Probably an argument over what sauce to have on a kebab
Should be interesting if the ban leads to players actually from Lebanon playing the PI's next year with all their NRL players. They only have 4 clubs. And none of those are actually competing this year. I mean, turn it up you imbos.
