    Cooper Vuna a Wallaby WTF?!?

Your thoughts should Coope Vuna be a Wallaby and will he be destined to be a one cap player?

Prior to watching the game I was dead set against him being in the squad and last night performance is justification for my attitude. There are other players in that squad that are more deserving and much much better long term options. In the last few years of playing professional union he still gets caught out of position regularly and can't tackle for poop which is weird for an ex league player, how many tackles did he miss last night?

    One of a long list!

Cummins must be pretty pissed about not being selected ahead of Vuna.

Did anyone see the quote from Vuna in which he said he was "unlucky not to have been selected for the RWC squad" ? Arrogant AND delusional I reckon!!

Forget cummins that isn't going to happen unfortunately. What about Foley, Shipperly, Morahan or Mogg. All better long term options and better players especially Mogg and Foley.

Sometimes I think you guys (oh and the chicka thing) need to take your blue and black blinkers off.

For a Debut he had a good solid game - sure - he could have gone looking for the ball like Digby Ioane did. But that comes with confidence.

I guess its all about how full your cup is, or not. Are you a fan of rugby, or not.

have to agree with exile. Cooper Vuna has X factor too - something Australia lacks and genuine tackle break abilities. As much as I like the Honey Badger - he isnt a proven finisher - look as his record. Vuna's work rate was pretty high although some people might not have seen in comparison to Diggers.

We don't lack so much as those qualities are currently injured at the moment. Beale and oconnor would be playing if not for injury?

I don't have my blue glasses on more just don't think Vuna is all that. Yeah Digby sets the bar high and I get that.

Yeah, I'd love to see the Honeybadger in the side but I reckon he he is toward the back in the queue. He will work his way up the queue as the Force backline improves. Vuna wasn't a total zero, he could turn out alright, but I think there are others like Shipperley, Morahan et al, who should have been picked before Vuna.

It will all be different when the "Three Amigoes" are all fit and firing. I cant wait for their triumphant return.

Cooper Vuna chased a kick for 80 m, made the tackle, dragged the guy into touch for the lineout.

Haven't seen an aussie outside back do that for 5 years!

he had a solid game, he made a few mistakes. but he was by no means shit.
same can be said about barnes or TPN. did some good stuff, but messed a few things up. and can probably be said about other players if i thought about it a bit more.

also - i'm more annoyed about horne STILL being unable to pass the ball. especially when he had digby open. but no. had to take the tackle and ruin the attacking phase

hope his bloodletting brought him some sense

Really? the 80m chase and tackle was his only completed tackle. I reckon he missed at least 4. He cannot tackle for shit and his one saving light was the chase. He is not a good option for the Wallabies.

Vuna is a liability. Hopefully North is back next week to expose this before Savea and co does........
