Hi all,
Great win last weekend, you guys must be pumped.
We interviewed Matt Hodgson on the latest G&GR podcast today - just thought you guys might like to know. It's here:

He was a great guest
All power to the Force!
Matt (Gagger)
Pumped, yeah, but tempered by the fact we're facing a pretty unbeatable looking Saders this weekend.
Two things in our favor, the Highlanders have proven they can be beaten and they've got several big names off the field
Two things to worry about, the Highlanders beat them last week and they'll be posed about that and they haven't got a good history against the force, it's unlikely they'll be underdone.
Thanks for the podcast link mate![]()

Yeah, not too often that the Saders would have dropped two in a row I suspect without looking.

i think we won 3 in a row last year
Have we won two in a row at home?

thats a little harder to answer...
The only time we've one three in a row was 2007- Hurricanes, Reds, Sharks. All at home.
The Crusaders sucked ass in 2009 and would definitely have lost 2 in a row in that year. Probably lost 2 in a row around the time that played the Reds last year too.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Years with multiples don't include single losses.
I think losing (counting Draws, so more accurately “not winning” rather than losing) more than one match in a row 14 times in 15 seasons is a pass mark!
Crunching the numbers you could mount an argument either way as while they win far more than they lose, following the loss they are (guess) 50-50 for the next result until the losing sequence is broken. However, when it breaks (either 1, 2 or 3 matches) the next few teams “pay” for it.
Needs far better analysis and time than I can give it though...
