Nice product endorsement. The cheques in the mail Drew.![]()
When you read what a couple of the marquee players have said and couple that with the piece in the Linebreak about players turning up to training when they don't need to, it sure doesn't sound like a squad that's imploding two weeks before a trial match. The opposite, in fact. It sounds like they are highly motivated and working towards good outcomes to any issues that do exist. It's a great change to see some slightly positive press for a change.

Yes if this works out right then may be the implosion suggested by some here may not happen.

Seen the fairfax take on Drew's innocuous comments???:
Mitchell Kept in dark by Force
This doesn't really sound like he wanted to talk to anyone about it:

Just caught Drew on the ABC news, he was brilliant, telling the journalists that they need to focus on the postives and stop trying to draw him into talking about negative factors.
The intimation was that the positives are more important and the media need to shift their focus from always being the prophets of doom and gloom and trying to bring it to fruition..
Good on you Drew.
Roll on 2009 Super 14 and lets show the world that we are the Force and will be a Force this year.

"Fractured Force now feel the love
The public smoothing of the troubled Western Force waters continued today, with winger Drew Mitchell claiming to have felt only positive vibes since returning to Perth.
Uncertainty still surrounds the future of senior coach John Mitchell, with a report following the inquiry into complaints about his conduct last year still to be handed down by retired judge Robert Anderson QC
Despite the coaching restrictions that were placed on Mitchell before Christmas being lifted, the former All Black was still keeping his distance at training today, with John Mulvihill again taking charge of the session.
Drew Mitchell - who is no relation to the coach - said preparations for the Super 14 season were running smoothly, despite the animosity between coach and players which prompted the inquiry.
"We support everyone here and we are all buying into the same thing. All the stuff we are being asked is purely a distraction for the outside really," Mitchell said.
"We are happy to answer your questions but it is really not a distraction for us. The sessions are set out and we know what we are doing, they are running along very smoothly.
"I have had a chat to John, I have had a chat with all the coaches about where we are heading this year."
I accept people's right to have their opinions and I accept that media exist to sell papers by whatever means necessary. I am personally sick and tired of all the negativity around about the Force and eagerly await the coming seasons for them.
