6. Rocky Elsom
7. David Pocock
8. John Roe
9. Luke Burgess
10. Berrick Barnes
11. Digby Ioane
12. Tom Carter
13. Ben Jacobs
14. Clinton Shifcofske
15. Lachlan Turner
Notable mentions:
Cummins, Siale, Edmonds, Palu
it was done on the planet-rugby forums, and the team above was the general concensus.
Shows how little the planet-rugby forums know.....having watched all the games this weekend, there is no way that Digby had a better game than Cummins.
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Hehe, the Reds are gifted a win against a Highlanders team expected to take the wooden spoon and suddenly thier players riddle the best Aussie team of the round....
the point i think Bread is making that those kiddies that compiled the list above chose random players from the winning team without recognising the "form" players from all the teams as they were supposed to.
I think Fava had a blinder, Giteau did very well (better than Barnsie) and so did Cummins ( over Digby) but they didnt crack a nod.
a shame....
who dares to do a TWF team of the week????

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
my team of the week would be
1. Greg Holmes
2. Tai McIssac
3. Al Baxter
4. Dan Vickerman
5. James Horwill
6. Phill Waugh
7. David Pocock
8. Wycliff Palu
9. Brett Sheehan
10. Berrick Barnes
11. Lote Tuqiri
12. Chris Siale
13. Ryan Cross
14. Nick Cummins
15. Lachlan Turner
The Australian forwards did well this round, Most packs were on top for most of the game (becides the Brumbies). The wingers all played very well but the centers had avarage games.
Careful jazza.
Anyone who puts Baxter and Tuqiri in a team of the week is looking for a groan![]()

well i can tell you for starters that those involved act less like children then some of the people on this forum. I agree that a form player does not have to come from a winning team, though it definetly does help.
Like i said, Cummins was strongly mentioned, but i think most people will agree that Palu and Roe played better then Fava, and in regards to Barnes vs. Giteau, well that is just each persons opinion.
sour grapes, if you are so certain that your opinion is neutral then how about you compile a list rather then just criticising others. Most people(including NSW and ACT) think that Ioane played better then Cummins.
No sour grapes here. It seems to be a fetish of yours.

^^like is said previously, it was the general consensus from planet-rugby members, so no need to start criticising me.
Force lost, reds and tahs won, hence the representation in the form guide.
If you think that Giteau, Fava, Cummins and Cross were all in better form then it probably would have being represented on the score board!
At what point did I criticize you??
