October 24, 2008
FRANCE will tackle Australia in Melbourne on June 27 next year as part of their tour to Australia and New Zealand, the French Rugby Federation (FFR) announced.
France will face the All Blacks in Dunedin (June 13) and Wellington (June 20) in what will be their first Tests in the country since 2007 when they lost 42-11 in Auckland followed by a record 61-10 defeat in Wellington.
France lost 34-13 and 40-10 to the Wallabies in June this year.

So much for the proposed Wallabies -Italy game at Adelaide Oval
Looks like a trip to Melbourne again next year.
Canberra Stadium will host the opening international of the season when the Wallabies play in the national capital for the first time since beating Argentina 32-25 in 2000.
"Taking a Wallabies Test back to Canberra for the first time since 2000 means we are deliberately reaching out to our fans in what is a heartland region for the game," O'Neill said.
Excellent news and about time.
good news about going back to Canberra, they deserve a few test matches down there, a little suprised and dissapointed about the italy game not going to adelaide though since it was announced by the ARU previously.
