Warratahs win semi final with dodgee Reffing
The Warratahs Concided 15 penalties in their own 22 and no Yellow card.. I think this was a game rigged to allow the ARU to redeem some sort status...
Brumbies played agreat gamebut just could not get over the ref...
I may be a bit bias but I like to watch a fair contest in a game.. But at least the ref have been consistant with the Warratahs this yr sand let them get away with anything....
The Final will be between 2 teams allowed to control the refs

Brumbies lost because of not kicking penalty shots (and maybe some not in-play kicking when they should have) and because of Jesse Mogg. Also the tah not getting carded for almost ripping off the head of one of the Brumbies and keeping his head in a headlock....and/or getting carded for too many penalties.

So maybe money can buy success after all.
brumbies never took their chances
end of story
I agree Brumbies didn't take their chances, but with that number of penalties there should have been yellow cards especially after the warning

Who reffed the game?
Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
Jaco Peyper I think??
Agree, but probably not in the way you would think. Putting aside the penalties they didn't kick, the Brumbies got the Waratahs on a warning while only trailing by three and took the kick for goal. Irrelevant that they missed, they turned down the opportunity to twist the knife - a try or a card at 45' and that could have been quite a different game.
The best side in the comp won on the night.
If the Brumbies had won they would have been hammered next week in Christchurch.
The Tahs are in with a chance of beating the Crusaders in Sydney.
The Tahs have been playing more entertaining rugby and I'm glad they won.
I agree with the first two posts. The reffing was atrocious in letting that many penalties in the 22, including professional fouls like Phipps bumping him off the chase. The card should have been out well within the first half.
That being said, they should have taken a lot more kicks at goal to make the tahs pay for their indiscretions. The glues sticks also never put any phase play or set run together - a lot of one out runners.
Apart from hooper getting away with being offside and the massive knock-on that was missed when Turner dropped a kick, I thought the red did alright. Oh and the lack of cards.

Poor refing re a card or two without a doubt but the better team won!
Sorry Brumbies just didn't take their chances, didn't play the ref and didn't convert all their territory or possession.
I just hope the Tahs can beat the Saders but I very much doubt it without a scrum or line out.
May the FORCE be with you!
