This weekend marks a great milestone for one of Australia's greatest Rugby servants, Bill Young, in seeing him run out for his 100th Super Rugby match.
"Wild" Bill has been single handedly responsible for keeping our (Wallabies) front row competitive, during some very ordinary times for Australian scrummaging, against better opposition. This was most evident during the ill-fated 2005 Spring Tour when he was not in the Touring Squad due to injury and the Wallaby Scrum was a shambles.
He is a player that most of the World love to hate and the less informed Australian fan also bags the hell out of him too however, I think he is a master and has used every ounce of his ability to keep some respectability for Australia in the scrum.
Sadly, his fine Wallaby career, second most capped Prop on 46 Tests, may well end with the change of National Coach however, "Wild" Bill will endure as an inspiration to many as a true Aussie battler and somebody who you would be proud to have beside you in the trenches.
Well done Bill, here's to a fine career
