Filipe Manu - known as ‘Flip’ - is of Tongan heritage, and was part of the Melbourne Storm set-up before coming back to rugby with the Souths club in Brisbane. After an impressive showing on the EWF development tour of the UK in 2008, Flip has now joined the club on a permanent basis.
Flip played club rugby for Palmyra in 2009, and finished second in the PG Hampshire vote count for Best & Fairest player in First Grade. His ‘little’ brother Sika represented New Zealand at the 2008 RLWC and is a fixture in the Storm line up.

Yep, he played for Paly this past season... Strong man, with some good talent...
I think he also represented Paly at the Singapore sevens this year and also might have played against the Singapore Cricket Club in a 15s game on the Tuesday following the sevens competition, but so did Fulvio...

BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
He was just named in the 7's squad to go to Fiji.
Whats happened to him, is he still signed? There is no mention on the player profiles at the official site?
He's playing club rugby in Brisbane. or at least was doing so this year.
