Emirates Western Force star flanker David Pocock faces an anxious 48 hours after injuring his knee early in the opening half against the Sharks at nib Stadium on Saturday night.
Pocock limped off with the help of club medical staff and was a spectator for the remainder of the evening. He’ll undergo scans in the coming days to determine the extent of the injury.
Youngster Mitch Inman also suffered a nasty arm injury after barley five minutes had passed, he too will need to undergo further assessment before a time frame can be put on his return.
“Both will have scans tomorrow (Sunday) and hopefully for the boys and the teams’ sake they’re not long term injuries,” Head Coach Richard Graham said.
“In these circumstances it is where depth comes into it and we’ll reassess tomorrow and make those decisions early in the week.”
