the jocks far too smart for the wallabies in the rain, deans can blame conditions, weather, short turn around what ever... but the so called worst team in the six nations just beat the tri nations champs in there own back yard... that was some celebration at the end!...![]()
Someone please fire Deans. Out of a cannon. Into the sun.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
The worst part of tonight is that Rugby again takes a step backwards when the competition for funds, players, sponsorships, hearts & minds in Australia is so tough between the codes. We NEED the Wallabies to win matches, that's essential if the game they play in Heaven is to thrive in Australia. Get your shit together Robbie Deans!
Dumb tactics... Deans still thinks he is coaching kiwi rugby players.. Aussies just cant pick and drive all day...it's just not Australia....
Tactics: Grubber kicking along the ground into the wind up and under with the wind esp when u have a 19 yo full back/ Deans should have put his props out in the backs instead of backs and just played .... Aussies are going to get minced in the Four nations.
TEF would be due home around 9.
AM....
Thursday...
Well done Scotland, the only NH team I don't totally hate losing to.![]()

Welsh white wash on the cards me thinks!!!!
Tactical failure.
I know we don't get much rain here but Dingo must have seen some in NZ!
The Welsh must be rubbing their hands in glee.
May the FORCE be with you!
I don't think the result means much considering the atrocious conditions. The Scots are more used to playing in that weather and boxed clever. Those types of games are always going to be tight and really the loss is of little relevance to the Wallabies fortunes in 2012.
I disagree. We spent 3/4 of the second half in their 22/50 and delivered bugger all from it. Think what the All Blacks would have achieved in that situation. Level pegging at half time and a gale up our arse for all of the second 40 and we couldn't deliver - I love 'em dearly but it's not good enough atm.
I don't know why we wait so long before we think a drop goal might be a good idea. In conditions like that u just need to make sure you are in front. We could have tried to knock one over after about 50-60 mins for a 9-6 lead and most of the pressure would have been off.

Giving away two penalties 5m from the try line don't help things too much, kinda glad I only saw the final 20 minutes...

The result means thewere unable to adapt to the conditions, and/or unable to produce a game plan for said conditions, and/or had the wrong team selection for said conditions.
The loss has relevance in that those teams planning on playing thewill have less to fear than they might have otherwise had.
One would have thought the team would like to enter into a mini season with a winning culture.
One would...
