Welsh skipper Gareth Thomas will hit the century mark this weekend when he runs out for the 100th time for Wales.
It had been feared the 33-year-old might not reach the milestone, having suffered rib damage earlier in the tournament. He missed the Red Dragons' win over in Japan and had been in doubt for Saturday's Pool B clash with Fiji.
However, the 33-year-old, who made his debut in the 1995 World Cup, made it through his first full contact training session on Tuesday.
"This is a huge achievement for me and Saturday will be a very special moment. There have been many times throughout my career, and recently with the injury, when I never thought I would get another cap, let alone reach 100," said Thomas.
"But I knew that a positive attitude would help bring about a positive outcome and it has. Now I just want to get on with the job of helping Wales in such an important game and reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup."
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
An amazing achievement, even in the modern era where test matches are so frequent for any individual to have been selected as the best in his position for their country.
However I have no time for this bully and thug and retirement in his case can't come quick enough.
Haha, couldn't have put it better F-t![]()

they can celebrate it with 100 points
It would've come sooner in this RWC if he hadn't made that cynical late hit on Barnes and then felt the force of Mortlock's retribution.
He's an average muppet who's looked good in a below par Welsh team of nobodies.
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Mmm I'd probably given him more credit than that Jedi...but he'll never earn respect for his ability from me when he supplements it with dirty tactics
"Remember lads, rugby is a team game; all 14 of you make sure you pass the ball to Giteau."
Or when he celebrates scoring a try in such a stupid, gay way.
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
