Well, 2 Magners League games have been played so far.
We won won and lost one.
First home win in the ML
Ulster fought hard to lose their lead, but the team came out triumphant after winning a final penalty minutes before the end of the game. A good performance by the Ulstermen meant they led through much of the game, primarily from the boot of Niall O'Connor.
The lead disappeared through indiscipline, but a late penalty brought the team back into the lead and the partisan crowd made their joy heard across Belfast

and then there was Edinburgh, an obvious win for us, in fact NO ONE thought we'd lose.... and then again the Edinburgh team had other ideas...
A milestone too far
Ulster allowed a determined Edinburgh side to take command early on and control how the game was played. A poor first half for Ulster meant that we were trailing all the way, and despite a supreme effort in the 2nd half, the deficit was too much to bring back.
Ulster deserved more, but a stupid red card for Ryan Caldwell, with a malicious and unnecessary stamp left the ulstermen with too much to do, even with the extensive amount of extra time awarded during the match.
