Force squad confirmed for ‘Canes, Brumbies

The Emirates Western Force has confirmed its 24-man squad for the side’s two-match Super Rugby tour to Wellington and Canberra.

Flanker Angus Cottrell, prop Kieran Longbottom and centre Winston Stanley join the 22 that defeated the Crusaders, 16-14, in Perth on Saturday night, with the exception of front-rower Salesi Ma’afu, who has been sidelined with knee inflammation.

The Force will fly out this afternoon to Wellington where they will face the Hurricanes on Friday (19 April) before heading to Canberra to face the Brumbies on Saturday, 27 April.

Great to see that the "warriors" from Saturday have been rewarded by staying in the squad, and while probably pulling up sore most appear to be likley goers for Friday.

Only concern is that Cummings injury is starting to look troublesome he has missed half the season already, hopefully with another three weeks before he is likely to play he should be "fit", although at this stage may be hard to fit him in.

Great to see Junior and Pek travelling - must be minor injuries.

    Ditto McCalman and Wykes.
