Ioane out for four months with shoulder injury

• SYDNEY, June 20, 2010 (AFP) - - Wallabies winger Digby Ioane is to undergo shoulder reconstruction and will be out of action for at least four months, Australian coach Robbie Deans said on Sunday.

Ioane injured the shoulder when he fell heavily during Saturday's 21-20 loss to England here.
Dynamic scrumhalf Will Genia will also miss four weeks with a broken thumb.
X-Rays on Sunday confirmed Genia had broken his right thumb, ruling him out of the test against Ireland in Brisbane on Saturday and potentially for four to six weeks in total.
Deans said he would look at the possibility of calling another halfback into the squad, with Australian Barbarians representative Josh Valentine among those likely to be considered.

i think cam is committed to preparing for a full season of super rugby next year. i believe he wants the time off to fully get over his injury woes and biuld up to 100% playing fitness.........hopefully with the force and not the rebels.
