New Zealand captain Tana Umaga has announced his retirement from international rugby.{br}{br}View the Entire Article{br}
Sad to see the end of a fantastic International career however, apart from winning a World Cup, after 2005 there was really no mountains left for him to climb in the game.
With the incredible All Black depth, his position will soon be filled however, his impact as a captain will be harder to replace.
I would think that Richie McCaw would have to be a front runner there?
Enjoy yourself Tana and thanks for the memories!
It's very in for people to retire only to come back for a world cup. I'd expect him back in 2007.
It is sad to see him go though, a very tough competitor and genuinly nice on-field person.
