Stepping into a Waugh zone
By Iain Payten
June 19, 2008
JOSH Gamgee could, justifiably, be the one Australian who hates Robbie Deans.
As a result of the Kiwi's decision to send Australia bench players back to club rugby this weekend, Gamgee will spend Saturday afternoon being hunted by Sydney Uni flankers Phil Waugh and Dean Mumm at Uni No.1 Oval.
But such is the power of Deans-mania, the Manly five-eighth set aside his potential torment to join in the applause for the return of six Test stars to Sydney clubland.
"It makes our job a little bit harder but it's always good playing guys of that calibre, it brings out the best in you," Gamgee said. "And it helps club rugby a lot when those guys play. It was fantastic when George Smith played for us a few weeks back. Both sides lift when a Wallaby is on the field."

The heading should read: Stepping into a Gamgee zone.

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
Yeah I thought the heading was a bit off, but thats what they put so I kept it.
Worst pun ever!
