As you may know, thanks to Travelling_Gerry we have come into possesion of a Wallabies jersey which was signed by the entire Wallabies squad that were in Perth for the Wallabies -v- Ireland game back on the 26th June. This has since been mounted and framed (thanks Happy) and was publicly displayed inlast weekend. What to do with it has been up for debate for a little while, and hanging it in my living room has been taken off the table.
We'll sell it and use the $$$ to pay for some of the expenses on TWF and also hopefully for some new features. Similar jerseys are being sold by the ARU for over $2000, and we could probably find a buyer or go the ebay path.
Rather, I want to test the waters on raffling it - this way pretty much everyone will have the opportunity to possibly pickup this rather cool item for a low low low price.
So, I'm pretty settled on selling either 100 tickets at $20 each, or 200 @ $10. Before I go ahead with this, I want to make sure that we'll get the numbers, and would ask that you reply to this thread or send me a PM and let me know 1. if you would buy a ticket and 2. how many you would want to buy. Consider this a pre-sale. If we go ahead with the raffle, tickets will be reserved for you.
I'd be in for 1 @ 20 or 2 @ 10
I'd definitely by one at $20 or 2 at $10 but i'm sure i could talk my dad into buying one or 2 as well... i'll ask him when he gets home from work.
I made Happy sad...
I'll be in to ensure enough tickets are sold, at least $50 worth anyway.

I would like to see it go to a TWF member via a raffle. We have a set number of tickets to make our $2000 and once sold it is drawn. Members who can afford multiple tickets may do so, those who can't still have a chance of picking up a great prize for very little outlay.
Limited to TWF members only, if you want to buy a ticket you have to join up and buy a ticket via our paypal system. That way we have the money up front, and if someone signs up and doesn't contribute anything to the site beyond the raffle draw, they can do that too.
$20 tickets @ a limited number of 100 should give everyone a reasonable chance. My only concern would be some people buying $1500 worth of tickets, not against the rules but limits the number of members who can enter the draw quite considerably. As you pointed out coach this prize is worth a lot of money. Maybe we can work it out so there is more than 100 tickets???
I'd put $100 worth of tickets towards it!

I`m in for 1x20, or 2x10
Put me down for $60.Id suggest to sell as many as possible. Why restrict it to a certain value. We are all going to benefit won way or another.
damn you'd be pissed if you spent $1500 and still didn't win it!
I'd probably get one - would be good if you organise some token 2nd/3rd prizes too..
I'd buy at least 2 or 3 at the $20 price... and if I don't win, TWF still wins![]()
