Just introducing myself to one and all. I live in Warnbro and wouldn't mind hooking up with some force fans to watch the away games. I became a member this after being bitterly dissappointed in missing out on membership last year to financial hardships. I enjoyed the game at Members Equity the other night and it was great to ee the little master Matt Giteau run out in the Force colours. Looking forward to hooking up with everyone sometime soon. cheers![]()
hey welcome abord gilly.
Welcome aboard Gilly63....
Maybe we can start looking for the pubs/clubs that have Foxtel in some of the outer areas and will play the away games with the sound actually on...
Nice to have you along gilly, enjoy yourself mate...As for local pubs, only got the Tom Price or Paraburdoo hotel up here, that`s a hell of an away trip from Warnbro...If i`m allowed to go to the pub in perth on my week off, the missus lets me go to the infamouswhere a large number, and a few large fellows, catch the games...Also been known to frequent there pre and post home games, so call in and meet some of the crew...
Proudly bought to you by a brewery somewhere....
Welcome Gilly!
is the go if you can reach it but as suggested, we should probably see if we can't find locations for those further afield.
Look forward to seeing you around TWF more often![]()
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
I live in Golden Bay mate...normally watch the games at home. But I would be up for a few of the Kiwi games if I am not busy to watch in the pub.
Egan..whats the name of the pub there that does broadcast the games......we will try to get a list together
Welcome aboard mate
"Remember lads, rugby is a team game; all 14 of you make sure you pass the ball to ..........."
G'day Gilly - welcome aboard cobber!
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Gerry - I would think Port Kennedy Tavern is the one you would be thinking of.
Another hot JB's this Friday Night - 37c forecast for Friday...let's hope they invest in a few air conditioners!
i generally watched the away games at home.............looking for somewhere else with a better atmosphere then just me yelling my roof down. any ideas would be appreciated (someone gave me the tip of champions bar at burswood for the sth africa games)
is always good for away games that are on during the right hours, last year when we won our first match, the publican put on free pints! - otherwise I believe the Champions Bar is the place to go for the out of hours games...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
welcome Gillyhow you doin?
nothing beats watching a game of rugby at decent pub with a beer in hand!

"Believe in the best, think your best, study your best, have a goal for your best, never be satisfied with less than your best, try your best, and in the long run things will turn out for the best."
G'Day Gilly, as a Warnbro boy meself, I find the Leisure Inn (Rockingham) to be reasonable (Usually puts the game on the big screen) you might also try the George and Dragon at Shoalwater. G&D is quieter but not full of Kiwis and Navy jerks cheerinf for the wrong team.
Dunno how regular they show the games tho, I bought Foxtel so I could see the away games without geting in the doghouse
C'mon the![]()

G'day all
I am a delighted to introduce myself on this forum. Im pete from fremantle.
Whilst i am an ex new south welshman, I have always followed rugby from afar. This is my second season of being a Force member.
I have a good feeling about the year ahead and barring injuries as we had last year expect a really good showing from the lads this year.
hopefully subi could become the new "force field" apart from fortress.
As for watching away games - anyone around the freo area can watch in the Moondyne Joes Sports bar on the cnr of Hampden Rd and Wray Ave in Freo.
I have always found the staff approachable to put the game on the big screen and the volume up.
cheers
Pete
