P Div In Trouble Over Bees Remarks
Springbok coach Peter de Villiers could face a disciplinary hearing after claiming that the national rugby team was 100% behind murder accused Bees Roux.
The Bok coach, speaking ahead of Roux's bail hearing, said: "The team supports him 100%, not on the deed, but rather on the circumstances that led to the situation developing."
De Villiers, who has a history of getting into trouble for his statements, claims the Springboks had discussed Roux in a team context, despite his never having played for the national side.

He is such a tool!

He might as well stick a sign on his forehead saying, "Sack me."

It would have to be about the only way they could and save face, but it will be interesting to see them claim he's racist.
yes he's a tool but i actually believe what he said was appropriate given the circumstances..
heres a white south african being accused of a hate crime because the victim was black... given what i know of the circumstances around the events leading up to the murder, its quite clear he was put in a position where he felt he needed to take matters into his own hands.
many people are glossing over the facts to try to villify Roux as some racist white Boer when noone seems to know/care what happened..
Let justice take its course, Devilliers and the rest of the South African rugby community have every right to say they will support him rather than demonise and reject him.

He has the right to say what he likes. The SARU also have the right to sack him.
