Geez that was some concussion. Out cold in intensive care for 11 hours.
There must be grave doubts about next week despite his own optimism.

fark!!!
Isn't any major concussion met with a mandatory 2 week lay off? Either way, I'd be buying myself a helmet this week ...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
looking at the fotage i dunno whether a helmet would have helped - unless we get Larry to send over a couple from the NFL.
Im not sure about the mandatory requirements, but after the recent retirement of Elton Flatley.
didnt the former Quaterback for the Dallas Cowboys retired for a similar problem??? Larry can you help me out with this one please mate?

It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Yes, several QB's retired early from concussions. Most notable are Troy Aikman (Cowboys) and Steve Young. I'm not sure how many Troy had but I believe that Steve had 7 concusions during his career before his wife made him give it up.
Most professional athletes are so competitive that they feel can come back quickly from almost anything.
Thanks Larry![]()
