Eddie O'Sullivan will coach the Barbarians against South Africa at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday December 1 2007 in the only international to be played in England this autumn.
Ireland's Head Coach will take charge of a star-studded squad at the 82,000-seater stadium against the Springboks, who have pledged to make their top internationals available for the fixture.
Bok captain John Smit said: “It will be a great occasion. We really enjoyed playing at Twickenham last November and getting our first win there since 1997 (25-14).”
Micky Steele-Bodger, president of the Barbarians, told the Business Day: “This will be the sixth match between SA and the Barbarians. At present, the Springboks are 3-2 up. So far, we have won in Cardiff and Dublin but not at Twickenham. We must put that right. But judging by the Super 14 series, and then watching the Springboks beat England twice over the past two weeks, it will be a tough challenge and we look forward to it.”
