There not my team but the Ospreys were ripped off big time with a weak ref decision on full time where he called a penalty advantage in front of the posts for a clear offside(the defending player was standing next to the half back at the ruck and tried to play at the ball). The Ospreys player thinking they had an advantage at hand went for the drop goal. He missed and when he stopped play he then said he had put his arm out for a knock on advantage only to blow the whistle for full time denying the Ospreys a penalty in front of the posts about 15 metres out.
Not that it will say this in the history books but if was an Ospreys fan I'd be feeling a little ripped off.

Watch the decision frame by frame and it looks even worse.
However having said that I've got to say all the games over the weekend were really good adverts for rugby close games in general well refereed. Backs spread wide across the park, running from depth and at pace and long passes to get the ball out to the wings quickly. There really was some exicting rugby played in what looked like and sounded like pressure cooker situations. Downer was Broke James really did appear to let the pressure get to him and probably cost Claremont the game. Watch the games folks and think you'll enjoy them, one highlight, think it was the Biaritz wingers try.
I don't know but it didn't look like him (I thought Ngwenya had longer hair). I'll try and find out.

Yeah it was Ngwenya. My bad.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Nice to see his career's gone somewhere since then![]()
