Righto, the Best Beer in the World thread has had some pretty good mileage, amazing in a Rugby crowd
I'm going to whack up a poll directly regarding the Best (even if best of a bad bunch) Local Brew but want to make sure I have all that will be mentioned if I don't get them all from the start.
So, reel off the best of the WA based or originated beers and I'll add the poll in a week or so.
Emu Bitter
Emu Export
Swan Draught
Matilda Bay (is there more than one type? I only know the one...)
Sail & Anchor (haven't seen it for a while, is it still being made?)
Little Creatures Pale Ale (what are the other two?)
Redback Original
Redback Light
Righto aficionado's hit us with the rest...

Sorry krusher, can't agree there.
I gave up on 'wife beaters' when I got back from the kimberley - about the only beer up there. That and VB would have to be the blandest beer in the world.
Little Creatures for bottled beer.
My draught choice should be obvious.
Beer and taking time, excellent equation Krusher![]()

There are several local micro-breweries that have opened up in the south-west, Bootleg's raging bull is a nice drop with a bit of extra kick 7.5% (if my memory is good enough) especially on a rainy afternoon.
Rogers for a mid strength is nice.
Cowaramup Brewery has opened recently and has a nice stout.
I remember reading a book on Australian beer, its entry on emu export: Where do they export this crap to?
Export: from the gutter to your glass![]()

Emu Bitter () is what you get as a bi-product from sewage plants!
Just happy to be here
Emu Export, the Foundation beer of generations of country lads!
Some don't find a reason to change.
Actually had a tube (King brown) the other day and it was actually a little better than I remember I must admit. Not good, just better![]()
