30,000+
25,000 - 30,000
20,000 - 25, 000
less than 20, 000
Anyone know expect crowd for the Tahs game?
What everyone think?
To some its a six-pack, to me it's a support group.
does this count as bonus points in the tipping comp??
It would be great to see Perth rally and get behind them after last weeks 2nd half floundering, but being the cynic I am - I reckon we'll be lucky to get 22000... I've not heard any official news yet
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
well I would think that there are 21000 members that are going of course. plus a few thousand hard core rugby nuts - my tip is over 25,000 - but only just

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
I've kinda gone down the optimistic route here, there is the 21-22,000 members for starters, plus those who would be members perhaps another 5000, then all the closet Waratah/Blues/NSW fans who come out of the closet at this type of event. There are heaps of NSW expats here who would love to see WA get buried in any sport, just so they get some bragging rights at work on Monday.
So, maybe not all chearing for the Force, but I reckon we should be looking at over 30k.
I think I will claim the win on this one![]()

26000 ! Onya Perth!!
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
not bad crowd considering the 5000 drunken irish members I saw stagggering from pubs....
How were the Members seats, were they still full or dropping off?
To be honest I found it a bit disappointing on TV after such a great first couple of home ground crowds.
Excellent after the Sare try but very embarrassing that the next loudest was related to Del's game, either jeering a knock on or booing his tries. A real low point for our crowd for mine.
Yeah - I was pretty embarressed by that, sounded like a mob of red necked queenslanders (not saying that all queenslanders are red necks, we just sounded like the ones that are)
Some redemption for clapping off Rogers though - *ouch*

Booing is part of the game whether you boys like it or not and last night proved it being the only time that people made noise (apart from try obviously)
Dissapointed in the gold members too, they never join in the mexican wave and they too get booed for it, rarely can hear much from them either.
Good to see when the wave did get going though there wasnt much rubbish chucked up like before.
There is still quite a lot of passion in the 2nd and 3rd tiers
To some its a six-pack, to me it's a support group.
Booing is part of the game? Mmmmmmmm yes well, less said the better on that one me thinks.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I was at a rugby match last night. Personally I was watching the game and didn't notice the Mexican wave until it went past me. Sorry for spoiling your fun girls.![]()

The crowd was certainly loud when they went over for a try, not very vocal otherwise (for periods our small supporters group was louder). Kudos on the fact that it's a sea of purple, very good to see.
