THE partner of Western Force forward David Pusey wants her boyfriend back.
Pusey has lost his normally smooth look and grown what girlfriend, The Sunday Times photographer Jody D'Arcy describes as "that bloody awful beard".
The hair has been growing from months and D'Arcy says she wants rid of it.
"Dave has found the ultimate reason to shave off that bloody awful beard," she says.
Pusey's father, Andrew, was diagnosed with prostate cancer 18 months ago so his son is keen to
raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
He hopes to raise $10,000 before Shave Dave Day on May 3, when the Force takes on the Chiefs at Subiaco.
D'Arcy says she much prefers the John Mitchell and Nathan Sharpe look.
"I hate to think that I will have to wake up to that every morning if we don't reach the target," she says.
