Australia backed to win Rugby World Cup after beating New Zealand

Australia subject of strong support to win the 2011 World Cup after beating the All Blacks
Australia have been cut to 3/1 for the 2011 Rugby Union World Cup after their last-gasp defeat of New Zealand in Hong Kong.
Ladbrokes have eased the All Blacks out to even money (from 4/5) with question marks now surrounding their reliance on fly half Dan Carter.
David Williams of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro:
"The Wallabies finally showed that they have strength in depth in their squad and that could be vital heading into a World Cup year.
"The All Blacks' inability to trouble the scorer after the substitution of Dan Carter was worrying. They couldn't cling on and once again we're wondering if they really are the real deal."
England are 12/1 to win back the World Cup they lost in 2007.

The TAB sportsbet odds are somewhat different (yes I have taken account of the different quote structure). NZ have pretty well stayed at 'odds on' for several months whilst the Wobblies odds have shortened during the course of the tri-nations. Yesterday they were $3.65, having moved in from $3.95. Mid way thorugh the tri-nations they were paying around $4.50.
RSA on the other hand have gradually moved out over the period, now at $6+.
The shortest odds for a 6-N team is on France with England at $17.
I reckon the time for getting good odds on the Wobblies is gone. However, nearest the time we should be able to bet on various combinations that would provide the best return on a multi-bet.
