like a CD or radio transmission. It doesnt have to sync up with the vision, so long as its not idiotic commentary. This is what I mean.

Amen to that. It's a bit lousy of Fox, isn't it. But I must admit I'm enjoying 2 sessions of Inside Rugby each week.

So like a half hour delay between live radio, if you can get it, and delayed TV is ok?
Probably milked it a bit far now, the point I'm making is those type of options are rarely available in the sticks

You've missed the point altogether. My point is to put just music on. No speaking at all.

The biggest problem I've had with the commentary is the reporting of substitutions. Sometimes you see a guy come on and it's 10 minutes before they make a comment that he's on the field. That happens on both Fox and channel 10. Other problem is they don't know half the player names. Fox seem to be worse for that cause they have trouble with both teams. Channel 10 at least knows most of the Wallabies but struggle with the opponent. I don't expect them to know every player in World Rugby (especially minor teams like Canada), but surely they should be able study before each game the names of 44 people. You watch american football and the announcers seem to know everyone and they have like 50 guys on each team.

Bray n Buddah would have been the go for RWC and Cometti should have exclusive rights to every AFL grand final while we're at it.
