Unfortunately, apart form the online site, there will be no Live broadcast of the match in WA. We looked at the possibility this morning but we cannot change at this late stage.

The ABC and ABC2 broadcasts on Fox and Austar are the local programs which means this weekend, the same as in the east.

I'm still a little confused on the Fox thing, but you Fox people would know if it's the local perth broadcast or teh eastern states one?

At least they looked at the possibility, I guess...

If its on Fox2 then we get it on Fox Satellite at the same time as the east.So it looks like we get the Sunday game that doesnt involve us live

Ok. I'm sure you've figured this out yourself but going by the teleguide and what I've watched over the past few weeks, the game coverage would be:

Sat 6 OCT
ABC Channel - 3pm WA time (thus delayed telecast)

HD 20 - 1pm WA time (live telecast)

Oline Stream - 1pm WA time (live telecast)

i want to know why perth is left out. maybe abc perth needs to be sold to nice people like channel 9 was because now we get nrl GF live.

Here's the response I received from Iain at ABC

Thanks for your note. We are covering all finals of the ARC this year. The Saturday match that includes the WA team will be broadcast at 3:00pm nationally on ABC TV.

The other match will be broadcast on Sunday on ABC2 and is also available on Foxtel and Austar on Channel 126.

Both matches are available live streamed on abc.net.au/rugby live at 1:00pm on Saturday and 2:00pm on Sunday Perth time.

Whilst i'm pleased the game on the ABC surely they could move "Foreign Correspondant" at 1pm and the repeat of "Mr Bean" 1:40pm and "Rugby in the 70's" to the time slots after the game??
