exactly jono, and in fact im pretty sure every pom in the universe was singing that tune in 2005. Their football (soccer) team keeps finding new and inventive ways to lose in every tournament under the sun. Hell most of the players in the top flight in England are foreigner7

I'm gutted Australia is out but i'm not going to make excuses and say we should still be there. England outplayed us and we made way too many mistakes...fair and square...so you've got no battle on your hands there...full credit to England

And sure (as an aussie and given they did beat us) I don't want the English to win, but if they play well enough to take out the cup then yay for them...again...no beef here...they will deserve it.

In the end and now my team is out, i just want to see good rugby. I think its safe to say most people would agree.

I think whoever lost that Australia-England quarter final would have copped massive damage to the sport and that sucks for any fan. I am happy to say that I think Wallabies supporters have taken it really well and much better than Kiwi fans for example. On the other hand the English media and English fans (not the English players though which was nice) have seemed to be sore winners- the only thing worse than sore losers.
