Merry XMAS from Sony shoppers
Just spoken to a charming young man in Sony who confirmed that MOST PS2 games do not play on the new PS3 - including the rugby game.
The good news is that the retailers all know this and aren't advertising this new feature - the older 60GB PS3 is MOSTLY compatible with PS2 games however there were some non fixable problems which is why they took the decision to move to the cheaper new 40 GB console.
I indicated strongly he should find a new job before XMAS morning and he thanked me for my concern whilst telling me to take back the game titles I had bought - was somewhat surprised at the title list and agreed that for my purposes the new console was about as much use as a chocolate teapot as the games on PS3 are aimed at hardened gaming male peps aged 20 +
Was the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
