I'll do this one free for us and we'll see where it leads.

If it takes off I can teach everyone who wants how to make them, and they can take the idea to their own block for home games, with the number and location of TWF members, we could easily take over the stadium without having to worry too much about getting official approval.

For those who are interested, a Sword would cost about 20c to make, I usually sell them for a buck, but if you sell them, most of the money goes to an insurance company. I spend more than 20 bucks at the rugby EVERY WEEK, buying a hundred balloons and giving them away is a small price to pay considering that someone is likely to shout me a drink in return for the favour.

Usually a lager man, but since I'll be at a Guinness or a Magners might work!

BTW Thanks TQ1, don't everyone buy for the balloons, I couldn't get 100 beers done before the game!

So anyway, as for the RugbyWA Memberships, I hope you will all at least consider the $30 odd for an adult Member.

Pepper you'll find in in another thread about "Force" memberships as opposed to "RugbyWA" memberships.

Force is around 15,000 this year.

I got a renewal letter this week - the form on the RugbyWA site is still called "2006 RugbyWA Membership Application Form" and it contains 2007 membership application, but I'm sure they'll update it soon!

Got my form...completed and handing back at the game today.

Remember the RWA membership bumps you up in line for getting Test tickets.

Should RugbyWA Membership be a component of Western Force Membership?
Forget about the accounting etc of two different entities, there are ways around that.
If all Force Members paid say a $10 full RWA Membership as part of their Force Membership, RWA would get a huge boost in finances compared to the limited numbers at $50 or whatever it was last year and also a potential increase in RWA attendance and participation.
Apart from accountancy etc I can't think of any downside apart from $10 on your current Force Membership level but am happy to accept any problems you may think of.
    I whole heartedly agree....
